Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery to join a 13-week temporary assignment. The role requires delivering compassionate inpatient care to mothers during labor, postpartum, and nursery stages, with flexibility for additional shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units.
• Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, ensuring safety and timely interventions.
• Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum procedures while maintaining sterile techniques.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Document patient care accurately in Meditech and other relevant systems.
• Support and educate patients and families throughout their hospital stay.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid WA RN license or multi-state license with verification of demographics from Nursys.
• Complete approved 6-hour suicide training.
• Possess current BLS and NRP certifications; STABLE training preferred.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery procedures.
• Experience with Scrub skills is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to work flexible hours and additional shifts as needed.
