Insight Global is seeking a Health Navigator for one of their clients in the Chattanooga area within the healthcare insurance industry. DAY TO DAY Day to day, they will conduct outbound telephone outreach to members, complete health needs assessments, and connect eligible individuals with population health management programs and other available resources. They will also engage members with identified gaps in care, encourage compliance with recommended healthcare services, assist with locating providers, and help schedule appointments when needed. Additionally, this person will manage system work queues and review member information, including eligibility, prior case activity, claims history, customer service interactions, and authorization records, to determine appropriate outreach and intervention opportunities. They will support the clinical team by assigning members for follow-up and helping coordinate care initiatives. This role will also be responsible for researching and resolving member inquiries, complaints, lost incentive concerns, and other program-related issues while ensuring a positive member experience. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment while balancing multiple priorities. Flexibility to work overtime as needed and compliance with required immunizations and medical testing may be required. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE An Associate's degree in Education, Communications, a Health-related field, or equivalent work experience is required. 2+ years of experience in a customer service or member support role is required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also functioning effectively in a team environment with shared responsibility, accountability, and collaboration. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to educate and engage members regarding healthcare benefits, programs, and services. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain organization, and effectively navigate system work queues in a fast-paced environment. Experience providing customer service, problem resolution, and support while maintaining a member-focused approach. Ability to research, analyze, and resolve inquiries related to member services, benefits, and healthcare programs. Comfortable conducting outbound phone outreach and building rapport with members to encourage participation in health and wellness initiatives. Compensation: $14/hr to $16/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
