OB/GYN Hospitalist Opportunity

About this role:

As an OB/GYN Hospitalist with Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.

You will provide care through restricted OB/GYN hospitalist shifts at St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana.

Primarily spending your time in Labor & Delivery, you will also provide care in the ED supporting patients that have obstetric or gynecology needs.

Anesthesia in house and available 24/7

MFM clinic onsite and available 24/7 for telehealth consult.

St Vincent is a large regional referral center, that welcomes an average of 1,800 deliveries annually. With a level III NICU, we provide care to patients at all levels of acuity & lengths of gestation. We are a designated Baby-Friendly Hospital, ranking in the top 3% of hospitals for Obstetrics and top 1% for Women's Services by Women's Choice Awards Best Hospitals 2025. We are excited to be relocating to a newly built hospital facility in 2029.

How we'll support you:

You'll be paid an annual salary of $337,680.00, based on the expectation of working 180 12-hour shifts per year. Shifts can often be stacked and taken in 24-hour increments. While not required, additional income is available through excess hospitalist and clinic shifts.

You will receive a starting bonus of $25,000.00, and relocation assistance up to $20,000.00.

Eligible for up to $100,000.00 in student loan assistance.

What you'll bring:

MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine

ACGME accredited residency training in OBGYN

Board certification or eligibility in OBGYN

Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one

Federal DEA Registration

BLS certification

Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
