Maintenance Technician

Preventative Maintenance TechnicianGeneral Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS), a premier provider to the US Department of Defense and allied nation. Our Springboro, Ohio facility is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift weekend 12-hr (5:00AM- 5:30PM).We are committed to supporting the mission of the warfighter. Given the nature of our work and our organization's ethos, we value trust, honesty, alignment, and transparency.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for executing scheduled PM's and inspections on facility/production equipment ranging from CNC lathes, draw benches, mechanical presses, ovens, paint booths, winding machines and film coating lines.Performing routine inspections, lubrications, adjustments and repairs on machinery and facility equipmentTroubleshooting mechanical and electrical issuesAdhere to all safety and company policiesFollow PM schedules and work orders and documenting activitiesQualificationsKnowledge of and able to perform tasks relating to plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.Ability to read blueprints/schematics (often required).Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Working knowledge of CMMS and ability to input required data into the system.Ability to use root cause analysis tools to determine the cause of the breakdown and suggest/implement a countermeasure to prevent breakdown from re-occurring.Ability to obtain a fork truck and aerial lift certification.Industrial maintenance experience required.
