Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition. Provides education to the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits and information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs. Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy. ~ Current licensure with Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies to practice Occupational Therapy. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. ~Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
