Registered Nurse - Cardiac & Vascular Care

This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour night shifts, with every other weekend and holiday requirements as scheduled.

The Registered Nurse will provide quality care to patients in the Cardiac & Vascular unit. Responsible for delivering nursing care for cardiac surgery postoperative patients, as well as patients undergoing vascular procedures and general cardiology care.

• Manage care for cardiac surgery postoperative patients, including CABG and valve replacements.
• Administer care for vascular surgery patients and perform comprehensive cardiac assessments.
• Titrate IV medications, including Heparin, Amiodarone, and Dobutamine, according to protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and interpret telemetry strips with the support of Monitor Techs.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Previous cardiac or vascular nursing experience is essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
