Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Description

Job Summary:
The Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality patient care in a specialized unit, utilizing advanced assessments and nursing interventions. This role involves closely monitoring cardiac patients, performing clinical duties, and coordinating with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' clinical conditions through comprehensive evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to telemetry patients.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to hospital protocols.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and diagnostic results accurately.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions and post-hospital care.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to update treatment plans and respond to changes in patient status.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Valid BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required or obtained within a specified timeframe.
• Demonstrate ventilator management experience preferred.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system required.
• COVID vaccination and boosters highly preferred.
