Behavioral Health RN Opportunity

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years License: Texas licensure as an RN, LCSW, LMSW, LPC, or LPC-A preferred Certifications: BLS, HWS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Familiarity with managing patients in emergency settings preferred but not required Description: Orientation is biweekly on Mondays. Unit serves all ages. Number of beds is 7 with a patient ratio of 2:7. Required equipment includes a computer, vitals machine, and breathalyzer. EHR systems in use are Medik and OnBase. The position requires calmness during crisis management and a patient-focused approach. Common diagnoses include Depression, Anxiety, Suicidal Ideation, and Psychosis. Dress code requires scrubs in black or blue. Business casual attire is unacceptable.
