About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVICU Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of CVICU experience required License: Compact or state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; CCRN preferred Must-Have: - ECMO experience preferred - Previous charge experience preferred Description: Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse in the CVICU. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of CVICU experience. ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. CCRN certification is preferred. Candidates with ECMO experience are preferred. The unit provides care for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The patient population includes heart and lung transplant patients, individuals with STEMI, ARDS, and various vascular conditions. Daily census is approximately 44 patients. Candidates are required to be able to float within the facility or to an affiliate hospital nearby. Compliance requirements include BLS, ACLS, EKG onboarding exam, NIHSS, and various competency exams related to ICU care. Previous work at this facility will be considered when evaluating eligibility for rehire.
