Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a night shift position requiring 1+ year of X-Ray Tech experience and ARRT-R certification.

Details

• Supports a broad acute-care imaging environment across inpatient, outpatient, Emergency Department, and procedural areas
• Works with Outpatient, Inpatient, OR, ER, NICU, and Adult ICU patient populations
• Night shift, Tuesday-Saturday, 5x8 hours, 4:00 PM-12:30 AM
• Saturday coverage required
• Block scheduling available
• No on-call requirement
• Uses EPIC charting system
• Uses PACS; GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba equipment experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of X-Ray Tech experience required
• BLS and ARRT-R certification required
• License required if applicable
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, Level I trauma, and Level II trauma experience preferred
• Adult and Pediatric Acute Care, Outpatient, Emergency Department, ICU, NICU, PICU, and Operating Room experience required
• Bedside and portable imaging experience required, including portable abdomen and portable chest
• Proficiency with chest, abdomen, head, spine/pelvis, and upper and lower extremity imaging required
• Radiation safety experience required
• Valid references and copies of certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered
• Local candidates accepted with a differential; local radius is 50 miles
• Scrub color is Charcoal Gray/Ceil Blue; scrubs are not provided
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration; time off requested after will not be accepted
