Psychotherapist Job Description We are looking for a skilled psychotherapist to join our multi‑disciplinary team. The role supports clients across community, home, and office settings to eliminate barriers and provide individualized support through the treatment process. Duties and Responsibilities Provide mental health treatment services to clients of all ages with a variety of mental health needs. Complete assessments and diagnose clients. Develop and modify treatment plans to support the client through the treatment process, as mandated by Kentucky Medicaid and Kentucky state regulations. Collaborate with other team members to ensure best practices in treatment. Complete documents in a timely manner, as indicated by Kentucky Medicaid and Kentucky state regulations. Document sessions via progress notes. Remain ready and available to work during regular business hours and outside of them, if necessary, to accommodate patient needs and schedules. Deliver services on time and achieve targets according to agreed volume and billable hour requirements, as established by the Regional Vice President. Adhere to Cultivate policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of an MS degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field. Must possess an active license to practice counseling or social work in Kentucky: LPCA, LPCC, CSW, LCSW, LMFT, or LMFT Associate. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written. Sophisticated communication skills including active listening. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to form and maintain relationships and model positive collaborative behaviors. Maintain a positive and compassionate attitude. Deadline driven with keen attention to detail. Ability to deliver timely results while managing multiple projects with competing priorities. Remains current on professional updates, new treatments, protocols, and licensure requirements within the field. Maintains a passion for advancing the therapy field and inspires others to seek continuous improvement.
