Job Description
We're looking to add an experienced Tax Professional to our team on a part-time to full-time basis for the upcoming season, with opportunities for seasonal continuation and expanded year-round responsibilities. The ideal candidate will prepare individual and business tax returns, support clients with preparation follow-up and basic questions, and contribute to a firm that values quality work, professionalism, and long-term relationships. Completed returns will be reviewed by a CPA or managing partner before filing.
Responsibilities
- Prepare individual tax returns.
- Prepare tax returns for sole proprietorships, partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations.
- Prepare extensions and amended returns.
- Respond to client preparation follow-up and basic questions.
- Use UltraTax to complete tax preparation work.
- Work independently while collaborating with the team.
- Maintain professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two or more years of tax preparation experience.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation (preferred).
- Experience with UltraTax (required).
- Experience with TaxDome (preferred).
- Experience preparing individual and business tax returns.
- Knowledge of tax compliance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professionalism and commitment to high-quality client service.
