Must-Have: Siemens CT experience, Trauma experience, Level One experience

Description: Minimum 2 years of experience required. Must have recent experience within the past 6 months. Siemens CT experience and trauma experience are preferred. Candidates must possess ARRT and CT certifications. A radiation badge is required. This department performs a variety of imaging studies, including stroke and trauma. The average number of scans performed each day is approximately 300. The department uses Cerner for their charting system. There are 2 techs per scanner in the department. Radiologists are available on-site during the day, and tele radiology is utilized afterwards. Registered Radiology Assistants are not utilized in this department. Starting IVs is not required for this position. Weekend and holiday requirements apply, with a call or standby requirement every fifth week. Response time for call is 1 hour. Scrubs are required in teal color. The department will provide a department-specific orientation. The cancellation policy allows for up to 4 shifts to be canceled during a 13-week assignment.
