Service Technician

Job Details Job Location: Corporate Headquarters - Oklahoma City, OK 73127 Position Type: Full Time PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Outside/Inside Service Technician performs mechanical work on pressure washers, pumps, and various other industrial cleaning equipment. The Service Technician should be able to multitask, have strong problem-solving skills and be goal oriented. Must work well both independently and as part of a team. Must have good communication skills and the ability to work well with customers. Must have a good driving record. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be familiar with engine components and systems, and how they interact with each other. Must have the ability to inspect, repair and replace defective or worn parts. Be able to perform routine equipment maintenance. Must have basic electrical knowledge. Have a stable work history. Handle customer feedback while showing a positive attitude. Have the aptitude to diagnose and identify equipment malfunctions. Have a good driving record with the ability to travel to various job sites in the state. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Maintain procedures and processes to ensure compliance with Company’s quality standards. Be able to work timely and efficiently and be self-sufficient. Reliable transportation to and from Chappell Supply and Equipment. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Be able to stand and move about regularly. Be able to frequently move parts and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds or more. Able to compute, analyze and interpret numerical data for reporting purposes. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be detail oriented. Ability to read and use a computer. Ability to understand and follow basic instruction and guidelines. Ability to understand, remember and communicate routine, information. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and record, balance, and check results for accuracy.
