In this role, you will oversee and coordinate the activities of a more complex production line, prepares schedules, resolves issues, and ensures adherence to safety and quality standards.**What you can look forward to in this role:*** Run a small business unit for People, Quality, Velocity, and Cost* Monitors and improves shop floor safety, aggressively eliminates unsafe processes* Assures fixtures, tooling and processes are followed to meet production schedules* Determines priorities and sequences jobs* Schedules and prioritizes constrained resources, and adjusts staffing to meet flow and customer requirements* Determines and executes disciplinary action when appropriate* Procures and distributes production material to meet schedules* Ensures preventive maintenance is performed according to schedule* Implements, Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, Internal Certification and others* Evaluates, assess, identifies and leads the deployment of workforce training* Practices and teaches CPS Guiding Principles* Initiates and conducts process improvement dialogs with Team Leads and Team Members* Drives root cause corrective action projects and drives continuous improvement* Leads section status reporting and monitors / audits section metrics* Leads the creation, implementation and training of standard work procedures**A successful candidate in this role will showcase their skills in:*** Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.* Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.* Performance Management: Knowledge of successful performance management techniques; ability to apply organization's performance management system, practices, and tools to developing and improving individual, team, and organizational performance.* Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.**Top Candidates for this position may also have:*** 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing related field* Experience in multiple manufacturing support disciplines.* Experience managing teams to production, budgetary, and efficiency targets.**Additional Information:**The primary location for this position is Athens, GA.Monday- Friday 300PM-1100PM.Domestic relocation assistance **is not** availableSponsorship is not available### ### **Summary Pay Range:**$81,370.00 - $122,060.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
