Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Manager to lead our quality assurance and control initiatives within our manufacturing operations.  The salary range is $73,000-105,000 per year, depending on experience.

This pivotal role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive quality management systems that adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in industrial or manufacturing engineering roles, with a strong focus on quality standards. As a key leader, you will oversee quality audits, ensure compliance with legal standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across cross-functional teams.

Duties

  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality management systems aligned with ISO and other relevant standards to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Lead comprehensive quality audits to evaluate compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee quality control processes including inspection, testing, and analysis to verify adherence to product specifications and safety standards.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis using Six Sigma methodologies to identify issues and implement corrective actions that enhance process efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and R&D to integrate quality assurance into all stages of production.
  • Lead initiatives in lean management and Six Sigma manufacturing practices to optimize processes and reduce waste.
  • Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, audit findings, and improvement plans for senior management review.

Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of experience in quality management or engineering management in a manufacturing environment
  • Extensive knowledge of quality standards such as ISO
  • Strong understanding of quality audits, analysis skills, and implementation of quality systems within manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in applying Six Sigma methodologies and lean management principles for process improvement.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively across departments.
  • Familiarity with regulatory/legal compliance standards relevant to manufacturing industries worldwide.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data trends and develop strategic solutions for continuous improvement.
