Prosperity Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer.POSITION PURPOSEUnder the Direction of the FIU Manager, the BSA FIU Analyst I is responsible for reviewing alerts identified by the Bank’s Transaction Monitoring System (TMS) for customers who may be conducting transactions to launder money or conduct terrorist financing. This role performs moderately complex research and analysis of customer and transactional data and escalated potential suspicious activity to the BSA FIU Analyst II. The BSA FIU I Analyst is responsible for complying with all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, and OFAC as well as the Bank’s BSA/AML/OFAC policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIESAnalyze customer and transactional data to identify and report potential suspicious activityPerform in-depth research and detailed account analysis on alerted activityMaintain productivity and Quality Assurance (QA) standards Maintain proficient knowledge of regulations, including but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Customer Identification (CIP), and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)Adhere to Bank policies and proceduresReport any suspicious or unusual activity carried out by customers or associatesComplete the annual BSA/AML and Compliance trainingOther duties as assigned by supervisorThe above statements describe the general nature and level of work only.
