Co-op, Patient Communications & Innovation
$23 - $29 per hourBiogen Inc
Six-month co-op supporting patient communication initiatives at Biogen's Health Literacy Center of Excellence. The role involves enhancing clarity and accessibility of patient-facing materials through visual design, plain language strategies, and informed consent form improvements.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate opportunities to incorporate visual elements into informed consent forms
- Research and develop patient-friendly graphics, icons, and visual communication concepts
- Create plain language Schedule of Assessments table template aligned with accessibility standards
- Support development of patient-friendly visual library through design briefs and examples
- Present recommendations and deliverables to stakeholders
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in accredited college, university, or skills program
- Bachelor's or Master's degree candidate preferred
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Teams
- Passion for improving information accessibility and health literacy
- Project management and organizational skills
Compensation: $23.00-$29.00 hourly
