Job Description Manager, Data Management, People Experience is a leadership role responsible for overseeing Tier 2 Data Management specialists and managing organization, job, compensation and personal data management processes and services. This position positions itself within AbbVie's HR operations and Payroll support and services (HRConnect) and maximizes the value of the shared service center through leveraging HCM and other technology solutions, as well as providing tactical project support for HR programs and services. Responsibilities Acts as liaison with Business Technology Solution (BTS), Data and Digital Strategy (DDS), Center of Excellence (COE) such as Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Talent Management, Benefits, Payroll and manages stakeholder expectations. Ensures delivery of functional integrity and high‑quality, seamless employee service in collaboration with Tier 1 team; maintains processes and procedures in line with guidelines and manages resourcing effectively. Provides oversight of annual Performance, Compensation and Benefit programs in relation to employee organization, job and compensation data management. Supports team member inquiries and resolves issues by using contact center procedures, policy manuals, knowledge management systems, and other reference materials. Meets and strives to exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned to efficient and excellent service delivery. Participates in selection, training and coaching of staff and creates a work environment that builds engagement and retains talent. Effectively manages team performance, procedures, training and quality monitoring processes and programs; monitors, measures and gives feedback to direct reports on goal achievement. Supports teammates in developing plans and escalates inquiries timely when additional research or analysis is necessary. Provides inputs and feedback to update, simplify or enhance processes, procedures and technologies as required. Identifies and leads continuous improvement opportunities and participates in special projects as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. 5+ years of experience in HR, HR operations, customer service; 3+ years in supervisory or People management role. Strong business and HR acumen. Knowledge of large‑scale data management, payroll, time and HRIS systems solutions and strong technical skills. Understanding of interactions between HR, accounting, and finance. Demonstrated ability to influence across teams and collaborate well with cross‑functional partners. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, planning, decision‑making skills and process orientation. Ability to consistently meet or exceed goals and KPIs with an excellence mindset. Experience in continuous improvement projects. Compensation & Benefits The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade. Individual compensation may vary based on many factors including geographic location and may be modified in the future.
