Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout each procedure, with clear and empathetic communication
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and referring clinicians to deliver precise and high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, addressing issues as they arise to ensure optimal functionality
• Accurately record procedures and manage patient documentation within our electronic health records system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound practices to enhance service delivery

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent entity
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
