Position Overview As a Laundry Attendant, you will play an important role in maintaining a steady supply of fresh, clean linens throughout the hotel. You'll be responsible for processing laundry, organizing inventory, and helping maintain a clean and efficient work area. Key Responsibilities
- Collect used linens, towels, and other laundry items from designated areas
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens according to established procedures
- Inspect laundry for stains, damage, or wear and take appropriate action when needed
- Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Keep the laundry facility clean, organized, and stocked
- Assist with linen inventory and help reduce loss or waste
- Follow safety guidelines and proper handling procedures for cleaning products
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Previous laundry, housekeeping, or hospitality experience is helpful but not required
- Working knowledge of cleaning products and safe chemical handling practices
- Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment or learn quickly
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and dependable work habits
