As a Packer, you're responsible for inspecting and packaging plastic products, ensuring they meet quality standards and are ready for shipment.Company OverviewPretium Packaging, founded in 1992, is a leading supplier of injection-blow molded plastic containers, renowned for our commitment to superior quality, value, and customer service. With 16 manufacturing facilities across North America, we provide innovative packaging solutions that meet the diverse needs of brand owners in the United States and Canada.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect finished plastic products for defects, such as cracks, deformities, or color inconsistencies.Package plastic products according to specifications, including selecting appropriate packaging materials and ensuring proper sealing.Label packages accurately with product information and any necessary warning labels.Monitor and maintain production line efficiency by identifying and resolving any packaging or production issues.Communicate any quality concerns or issues to supervisors and collaborate on solutions.Maintain a clean and organized work area, including disposing of waste materials and adhering to safety guidelines.Monitor and control inventory of packaging materials and notify supervisors when supplies need to be replenished.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications and SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging role preferred.Attention to detail and the ability to spot defects or inconsistencies.Strong time management and organizational skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift/move heavy objects as needed.What We OfferFull time, direct hire positionCompetitive salaryFull benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, FSA401k Matching, Life InsurancePaid Time Off & HolidaysCareer Arching Opportunities for professional growth and development.Collaborative work environment with a diverse team of professionals.Equal Opportunity Employer:Pretium Packaging is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
