Shifts typically start earlier for prep. Key Responsibilities Prepare in-person and online takeout orders accurately and efficiently Build made‑to‑order specialty sandwiches, wraps, and salads to spec Slice and portion ingredients (training provided), label and organize prepared items Assist with daily prep items (sides, soups, salads, trays, and catering prep as needed) Work with a small team to keep orders moving during the lunch rush Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow food safety standards Restock the line with ingredients, packaging, condiments, and supplies Communicate clearly, stay calm, and ask questions when unsure Support opening/closing tasks (setup, breakdown, cleaning) After you apply, you’ll receive a short recorded video screening from Anywayco, the management group behind Sassano’s. Requirements Food service experience is a plus, but not required Friendly, patient, and team-oriented Strong organization and attention to detail (speed + accuracy matters) Comfortable working with knives and slicers (training provided; safety-first culture) Understands food safety and proper handling (or willing to learn quickly) Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb Monday through Friday schedule.
