A growing, privately held international organization is conducting a search for a  Senior Accountant to join its U.S. finance team. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations while partnering with executive leadership in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accountant or Senior Bookkeeper looking to expand their responsibilities and advance their career within a stable organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
• Lead month-end close activities and prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
• Support compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
• Maintain internal controls and assist with audits and tax reporting.
• Process payroll and reconcile employee benefit accounts.
• Support inventory accounting, including imported inventory and landed cost allocations.
• Partner with banks, auditors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient financial operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and support business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Experience with payroll processing and financial reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Manufacturing, inventory, or import accounting experience is a plus but not required.
• CPA is not required.
