Position Summary: The IT Asset Lifecycle Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets across the organization, including hardware, software, and related infrastructure. This role ensures that assets are procured, deployed, maintained, and retired in alignment with business needs, compliance requirements, and cost optimization goals. The manager will develop and enforce asset management policies, maintain accurate inventory records, and collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support operational efficiency and strategic planning. This position plays a critical role in minimizing risk, maximizing asset value, and ensuring transparency throughout the asset lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IT asset management, IT operations, or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of IT asset life cycle management principles, industry standards, and best practices.
• Experience with asset management systems, procurement processes, and vendor management.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX) and IT security standards is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Certified IT Asset Manager) are desirable.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position, typically office-based with some remote work flexibility.
• May require occasional travel to company sites or vendor locations.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25lbs to a minimum height of five feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of fifty feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
• Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks.
• Must be able to handle organic matter daily, able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection), and able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater)
• Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details.
• Must be able to communicate professionally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc.

Work Schedule: 40+ hours weekly with flexible hours, depending on department needs, working out of North Tallahassee, Florida. Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays. 20-30% travel expected.
