Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver radiation therapy treatments according to the patient’s treatment plan.
- Operate linear accelerator and related imaging equipment safely and accurately.
- Position patients, verify treatment site, and ensure correct setup per protocol.
- Monitor patients during treatment and respond to any acute concerns.
- Document treatment delivered, machine parameters, and any deviations from the plan.
- Collaborate with the radiation oncology team, including physicians and medical physicists, to ensure quality and safety.
