Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Oncology - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Hyannis, MA. This role is ideal for an RN with strong oncology skills, chemotherapy experience, and the ability to coordinate complex ambulatory patient care Job Function: /n - Shift: 5x8 Nights. /n - Administer chemotherapy, therapeutic treatments, blood transfusions, and perform phlebotomy. /n - Provide and coordinate patient care in an ambulatory oncology settingAssess, diagnose, plan, and intervene in actual or potential health problems. /n - Evaluate patient responses to treatment and adjust care plans accordingly. /n - Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, symptom management, and health maintenance. /n - Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive care. /n - Support unit operations including patient flow, assignments, ordering, and medical record preparation. /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Active RN license in Massachusetts /n - BLS certification required /n - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred) /n - Successful completion of pharmacology exam prior to start /n - Experience in oncology nursing preferred /n - Strong communication skills and ability to educate patients and families /n - Ability to work with terminally ill patients and provide compassionate care /n /n Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
