Job Description The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide respiratory care services to a diverse patient population including adults, geriatrics, pediatrics, and infants within a 100-bed facility. The therapist will utilize advanced equipment such as ventilators, EKGs, BiPAPs, and O2, contributing to high-quality patient care. The role requires skills in managing adult ventilators and providing CPAP therapy. Responsibilities Administer respiratory therapy treatments according to physician orders. Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy and adjust interventions as necessary. Educate patients and families regarding respiratory therapy, treatments, and equipment. Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care and outcomes. Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment and ensure proper function. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with current certification. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar clinical setting. Experience with adult ventilation and pediatric respiratory care is essential.
