Java Developer

Salary: $145,600 - 160,160 per year Requirements:

• U.S. citizenship
• At least 5 years of Java development experience, including Java 8 and later
• Engineering degree
• Strong knowledge of JDK 11 changes and migration considerations
• Experience with REST, Spring or Spring Boot, and integration patterns
• Familiarity with JMS, SOAP/REST integrations, or middleware systems
• Experience reviewing and validating AI-generated development outputs
• Proficiency with Git, Jenkins, and Maven or Gradle
• Preferred: Experience integrating with Documentum or other ECM systems
• Preferred: Exposure to container platforms such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, or Docker

• Upgrade CCS Java services from Java 8 to Java 11 or later
• Refactor code affected by deprecated or removed APIs, library updates, and newer Java features
• Redesign and validate Java integrations with the upgraded Documentum environment
• Work with WebMethods developers to support reliable end-to-end communication
• Use Kiro to analyze code, develop automated refactoring proposals, generate tests, and identify coverage gaps
• Review and validate AI-generated refactorings and recommendations
• Contribute to code reviews, CI/CD improvements, and automated testing
