Travel Stepdown Nurse (RN) in Warren, OH

As an RN in the PCU/Stepdown unit (8SE Neuro), you'll gain exposure to advanced neuro care, stroke protocols, and cardiac drip management, all while collaborating with an engaged interdisciplinary team. Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week contract
• 12-hour night shifts

Key Qualifications:

• Current RN license (state or compact)
• At least 1 year RN experience; 6+ months acute care preferred
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
• Neuro or stroke experience highly preferred
• Must pass a dysrhythmia exam (study guide provided)
• Previous EPIC EHR experience a plus
• Not open to local candidates

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop care plans, and administer evidence-based interventions
• Safely administer medications and cardiac drips per hospital policies
• Coordinate patient care and teaching for complex neuro/stepdown cases
• Advocate for patient safety and quality improvement initiatives
• Communicate effectively with patients/families and multidisciplinary teams
• Respond with clinical judgment to rapidly changing patient conditions
