The University Health in San Antonio servicing patients at the University Hospital Women and Children’s Hospital is recruiting an advanced practice provider (physician assistant or nurse practitioner) to join the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. Position Summary: The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) provides comprehensive, family-centered care to pediatric and adolescent/young adult (AYA) patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions in the inpatient setting. The APP would work collaboratively with attending physicians, pediatric residents, nurses, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary teams. The APP would be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients with complex acute and chronic conditions, including malignancies, blood disorders
