Job Title NonEmergency Medical Transport Driver – Patient Transport Location Yuma, AZ 85364, United States Position Type Full Time – 80 Hours Every Two Weeks, Day shift Compensation Hourly: $16.00 – $20.80 (base salary range; actual may vary based on skills and experience) Responsibilities Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, discharges, and essential healthcare facilities. Assist patients during boarding, disembarking, and throughout the trip. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, including regular sanitization procedures. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations. Communicate effectively with patients and dispatchers to coordinate pick-up and drop-off schedules. Remain calm and composed in stressful situations. Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of patients at all times. Provide a professional, supportive presence during transport. Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents during transportation. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bilingual – Spanish required. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. High School Diploma or GED. Fleet Safety Clearance and completion of Fleet Safety Education. Compassionate, patient demeanor when interacting with patients and families. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
