Responsibilities:

• Assist the Dietary Manager in supervising and coordinating the daily operations of the dining services department

• Ensure compliance with company standards, regulations, and policies related to food safety, sanitation, and quality control

• Develop and implement effective menus and meal plans to meet the dietary needs of our residents

• Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient food preparation and service

• Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor to ensure budgetary compliance

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff members

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the dining experience and overall resident satisfaction

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Food Service Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

• 1+ year of experience in a similar role , with a focus on long-term care or hospitality

• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and food service management software
