Phlebotomist

Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Phlebotomy certification, completion of a training program, or at least 3 months of experience as a phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications 1 or more years of experience as a phlebotomist Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training program must come from an accredited agency if work experience is not present Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation Flexibility to work overtime as needed Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test Benefits Employees scheduled for 20 or more hours per week receive comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), PTO or FTO, tuition reimbursement and an employee stock purchase plan.
