Major Responsibilities:Lead the design and delivery of innovative prototypes, accelerators, and products leveraging cloud and AI technologies.Architect scalable and maintainable systems with a focus on performance, reliability, and security.Collaborate with stakeholders to define solution strategy, scope, and technical approach.Work with the Office of the CTO team to align on architecture across solutions.Mentor and coach engineers, fostering technical growth and cross-team collaboration.Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies (e.g., GenAI frameworks, automation tools, data services) that enhance Presidio’s offerings.Ensure alignment with organizational standards, engineering best practices, and long-term maintainability.Represent the Innovation Team in technical discussions, client interactions, and demos.Required Skills and Professional Experience 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a technical leadership role.Expertise in one or more core languages: Python, Java, Go, C#, or TypeScript.Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, IaC).Exposure to AI/ML or Generative AI platforms (OpenAI, Azure AI, Hugging Face, etc.) is a plus.Strong architectural and design-thinking skills with a product development mindset.Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.Why This Role MattersAs part of a new group you will have the opportunity to define and build the teamLead and shape innovation initiatives that directly influence Presidio’s strategic growth.Work at the intersection of technology, creativity, and business value.Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to define how Presidio adopts and scales emerging technologies.Build a legacy of technical excellence through mentoring, standardization, and experimentation.Physical Requirements:Primarily office-based with standard computer work requirements.
