Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will be a welcoming first point of contact while supporting security-related operations. You will monitor the lobby and entry points, manage access control and badge checks, respond to guest and staff questions, and communicate concerns to the team. What You’ll Do Provide customer service to guests and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a hotel and resort location. Operate the front desk post by greeting and directing visitors, verifying identification and/or access authorization, and issuing visitor credentials per site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying management and/or emergency services as needed. Monitor lobby activity, entry points, and camera systems to help deter unwanted activity, and report suspicious behavior per site policy. Complete required logs and reports, document incidents accurately, and communicate key information during shift handoff to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives. Minimum Requirements Have at least 6 months of security-related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
