Journeyman Electrician

Enclosure ForemanThe Enclosure Foreman is responsible for overseeing the completion of projects within the Enclosure Department. This role requires ensuring employee safety and productivity while demonstrating strong leadership skills. The position may involve occasional travel to off-site locations to conduct services.ResponsibilitiesOversee and ensure that all safety rules are followed at all times.Produce work schedules in accordance with the availability of employees, contractors, and labor laws.Recruit, hire, mentor, and train employees and contractors.Develop and oversee quality standards.Resolve conflicts or miscommunication quickly and amicably.Read drawings and blueprints and convey this information to others.Essential SkillsActive electrical license in Iowa.Experience managing multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.Experience managing multiple crews on multiple projects concurrently.Willingness to travel occasionally.Union position experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Additional related training or experience.Pays close attention to detail.Understands how to read and use a tape measure and has good knowledge of hand tools.Excellent communication skills and well-organized.Ability to assist and support others.Why Work Here?This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with air conditioning and continuous expansion due to company growth. The facility is continuously improving with plans for further expansion.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Des Moines, IA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $93600.00 - $116480.00/yr.
