Manufacturing Supervisor

Responsibilities Ensure production requirements are met and maintain appropriate staffing levels. Maintain positive employee relations and a safe, clean work environment. Plan, manage, and coordinate manufacturing activities to achieve management goals. Train production personnel to perform work assignments safely and efficiently. Provide coaching and apply employee relation policies consistently. Requisition operating personnel to meet established goals. Facilitate employee team operations and maintain accurate training data. Review and coach employees in accordance with plant goals. Administer production salary/wage policy for operating personnel. Enforce health, environmental, and safety standards, work practices, and housekeeping policies. Arrange for proper maintenance of machines and equipment. Report daily indicators, including production scrap and production per hour. Investigate material variances, report results, and recommend improvements. Solicit and encourage process, procedure, and equipment improvements from team members. Audit standard work practices and review them regularly through team meetings. Coordinate workflow with the Production Control department. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 3–4 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent knowledge and experience.
