Project AccountantLocation: Indianapolis, INSalary: $75,000 – $90,000 (depending on experience)We are recruiting on behalf of a respected construction company in Indianapolis seeking a Project Accountant. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working closely with project managers, tracking costs, and ensuring the financial success of construction projects.Responsibilities:Manage project cost accounting, budgets, and variancesPrepare monthly project financial reportsOversee AP/AR related to construction projectsCollaborate with project managers to forecast costs and monitor profitabilityEnsure compliance with GAAP and industry regulationsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3–5 years of accounting experience (construction industry preferred)Strong knowledge of job cost accounting and billing practicesProficiency with accounting software (Sage 300 CRE or similar preferred)Why Apply:Competitive pay ($75k–$90k DOE)Full benefits packageCareer growth with a respected Indianapolis construction employer
