About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year License: New York License required Certifications: BLS and NIHSS required Must-Have: Must have New York license in hand. EPIC charting experience required. Description: The position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in MS/Tele. The nurse will work 3x12 night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. The unit primarily cares for CHF patients, acute MI patients, post-device care (pacemakers), and patients with arrhythmias. Experience in handling a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 is needed. Candidates will be required to float to other areas as needed. BLS and NIHSS certifications must be valid and submitted with the application. The unit has 26 beds and handles high patient volumes. Nurses will care for general surgery patients, including those undergoing various surgical procedures. Strong assessment skills and the ability to manage complex patient care are essential. Candidates must have prior experience in blood product administration and the interpretation of dysrhythmias. The role requires knowledge of isolation precautions and the management of dysrhythmias. Nurses will also be responsible for oxygen administration and peripheral line care/management.
