Facility Maintenance CustodianResponsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our facility. Their duties include sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, and performing light maintenance tasks. They also ensure the building is secure and that cleaning agents and equipment are properly stored and maintained.Key Responsibilities:Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintaining the cleanliness of floors, walls, windows, furniture, and other surfaces.Restroom Maintenance: Cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking restrooms with supplies.Trash Disposal: Emptying trash receptacles and ensuring proper disposal.Light Maintenance: Performing minor repairs, such as replacing light bulbs or fixing small leaks.Equipment Operation: Operating cleaning equipment like vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and buffing machines.Supply Management: Maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies and restocking as needed.Building Security: Ensuring the building is locked and secured after hours.Event Preparation: Setting up and preparing rooms for events, meetings, or other special occasions.Grounds Maintenance: Responsible for light grounds maintenance tasks like sweeping sidewalks or removing snow.Safety: Following safety procedures, wearing appropriate protective gear, and reporting any safety hazards.Other Duties as Assigned: Custodians may be asked to perform other duties as needed by their supervisor.
