Blunier Builders, Inc. is a post frame building company located in Washington, IL that specializes in post frame buildings (pole buildings) for a variety of applications including agriculture, residential, and commercial use. We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in our Design/Estimating department. The individual will be required to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. We offer competitive pay based on experience as well as great benefits.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build complete sets of Architectural building plans from written contracts with a CAD drafting program, including building plans & layouts, sections, custom details, truss drawings, etc.
- Accurately perform material take offs
- Peer review drawings and material order lists
- Assemble final project material lists and drawings
- Subcontractor and supplier solicitation and analysis
Job Qualifications:
- Ability to adapt and meet deadlines.
- Detail Oriented is a must
- Good Organizational skills
- Self Motivated
- Strong team player
- Good communication skills, both written & verbal
- Min 3 (preferably 5+) years of drafting experience developing plans for buildings, preferably in post-frame industry
