Sales/Marketing Assistant

Description Position Summary We are seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Sales & Marketing Assistant to support our Sales Director and sales team. This role is responsible for providing essential administrative, operational, and marketing support to help drive sales growth, maintain strong customer relationships, and ensure the accuracy of customer and product information. The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Support the Sales Director and sales team with day-to-day administrative and operational activities. Maintain accurate customer, prospect, and product information in CRM and company systems. Assist with customer communication, follow-up activities, and relationship management. Prepare sales reports, presentations, proposals, and marketing materials. Support digital marketing initiatives, email campaigns, social media content, and promotional events. Coordinate customer meetings, trade shows, and marketing activities. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and streamlined processes. Help identify opportunities to improve sales performance and grow brand awareness. Qualifications & Experience High School Diploma required; Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. 3-5 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles (experience in the food or CPG industry is a strong plus). Familiarity with food manufacturing, supply chain, and retail sales channels is highly desirable (previous experience with a food distributor or as a food broker is a strong plus). Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Requirements Required Skills & Competencies Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; capable of managing multiple requests in a timely manner. Problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word). High attention to detail and accuracy. Team player with a positive attitude and adaptability to changing priorities.
