Team Name: Cinematics Job Title Senior 3D Generalist / Grooming Artist - Temp (SFD / Cinematics) Requisition ID R026664 Job Description Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a Senior 3D Generalist with a focus on Houdini Grooming to join our cinematics team. The desired candidate should be extremely self-motivated, experienced enough to develop new workflows, and help refine our processes. This role will be a 3‑month hybrid position based in Irvine, CA, with flexible remote options. Responsibilities Deliver high‑quality photorealistic and highly stylized grooming work. Collaborate closely with surfacing and simulation teams to produce visually appealing and functional results. Apply strong technical knowledge, problem‑solving skills, and a keen eye for design in Maya and Houdini. Minimum Requirements 8+ Years experience using Maya and Houdini in a professional environment. 8+ Years experience grooming in Houdini. Knowledge & Skills Expert at troubleshooting and solving problems independently. Deep understanding of VFX production pipelines. Ability to take creative direction and enhance the creative process. Extra Points Experience with VEX. Experience with Python. Working knowledge of Katana, RenderMan, Redshift, Solaris. Application Materials Required Resume (PDF preferred).
