Turn paid media performance into business growth

Lead Window Nation's paid digital marketing strategy and turn advertising investment into qualified leads and revenue growth. As the Director, Digital Performance Marketing , you'll bring deep paid search expertise to Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads), and Google Local Services Ads, while overseeing paid social, display, and video campaigns.

You'll own a seven-figure monthly media budget, coach two specialists, and guide agency and vendor partners across multiple local markets. Your primary measures will be lead volume, cost per lead (CPL), and budget pacing, with a clear view of how leads become qualified opportunities, in-home appointments, and sales. This role suits a leader who stays close to the accounts, delegates effectively, and enjoys building better ways of working.

\uD83D\uDCCD Location: This role is primarily based at Window Nation’s headquarters in Fulton, Maryland, with limited remote flexibility. Candidates must be able to work onsite in Fulton.

What you will do

Lead paid search strategy across Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Google Local Services Ads. Guide Meta campaigns and identify growth opportunities in TikTok and YouTube, balancing channel investment with market-level demand.

Manage budget allocation, monthly forecasting, pacing, and bidding strategies across channels and markets. Use performance data to decide where to invest and when to shift spend.

Stay hands-on with campaign structure, keyword research, audience targeting, creative optimization, and performance analysis. Lead A/B testing across ads and landing pages to improve conversion rates and return on ad spend (ROAS).

Coach and develop a paid search and paid social specialists. Delegate daily execution while maintaining the platform expertise to troubleshoot, upskill the team, and address performance gaps.

Partner with Sales, the call center, SEO, CRO, Web Development, and Creative to improve the journey from paid click to qualified lead, appointment, and sale. Build consistent processes as the team evolves.

Work with a dedicated marketing technology lead on campaign tagging, UTMs, conversion tracking, and CRM attribution in Microsoft Dynamics. Understand and validate data flows while technical partners support system setup and integrations. Present plans and results to executives.

Evaluate opportunities across YouTube, Demand Gen, Amazon Prime video advertising, connected TV (CTV), Nextdoor, Thumbtack, Angi, and emerging platforms. Keep campaigns aligned with privacy requirements and advertising guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in managing paid media campaigns across search, social, display, and video platforms
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role, including direct reports and/or agency management
• Proven experience managing paid media budgets of $1M+ monthly across multiple channels

Preferred Qualifications:

• Recent hands-on account management, strong paid search expertise in Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Google Local Services Ads, and working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager or Meta Business Suite.
• Experience managing campaigns across multiple markets and improving lead quality in appointment-based or offline sales models. Home services, education, multi-location healthcare, and multi-site services are relevant backgrounds; agency and in-house experience are welcome.
• Strong understanding of attribution modeling, conversion tracking, marketing analytics, and multi-touch attribution platforms; experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and advanced analytics tools.
• Expertise in A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), keyword research, audience targeting, creative optimization, and bid management.
• Experience with paid social platforms such as LinkedIn Ads and TikTok Ads, and paid video platforms such as YouTube, Amazon Prime, CTV, and streaming services.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and data visualization skills, with the ability to turn complex data into practical decisions.
• Experience coaching specialists, communicating with executives, and working across teams. Initiative, attention to detail, and comfort creating structure as priorities evolve; Google Ads and/or Meta Blueprint certifications.
