Job Description:

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely moving, staging, storing, picking, and loading finished products, raw materials, supplies, and other inventory. This position uses a forklift, pallet jack, RF scanner, and ERP system to complete material movements accurately and efficiently.

The successful candidate will have previous warehouse or shipping and receiving experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely around chemical products, production equipment, trailers, and pedestrian traffic.

• Damage prevention
• RF scanner and ERP transaction accuracy
• Housekeeping and warehouse organization
• Compliance with chemical-handling procedures
• Communication and teamwork

Qualifications and Requirements: 

• Experience working with chemical products or hazardous materials.
• Experience using an ERP or warehouse-management system.
• Experience preparing full-truckload and LTL shipments.
• Familiarity with shipping paperwork, bills of lading, packing slips, and inventory documentation.
• Experience in performing cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production facility.

Your New Organization:

A logistics and service facility supporting the fresh food supply chain through reusable packaging solutions. The facility handles the washing, disinfection, inspection, and logistics of reusable plastic containers and related trays used to transport fresh products. The McDonough operation plays an important role in maintaining the cleanliness, availability, and circulation of these reusable containers throughout the supply chain.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary for this position is $18.50, not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
