Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Assignment Details:

Guaranteed Hours: 40.00
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

State Pharmacy Technician license: Required in state of practice
BLS certification: Current
Minimum 3 years hospital experience with IV compounding experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

Perform packaging and other non-discretionary tasks related to the furnishing of drugs under the supervision of a pharmacist.
Pull medications from stock and match them with the corresponding labels generated by the pharmacist.
Maintain floor stock in nursing and other medication areas, including restocking and removing expired medications.
Assist in preparing IV medication products following applicable laws and regulations.
Process incoming orders, distribute stock appropriately, and handle returns and back orders in a timely manner.

Compliance / Notes:

Must receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable.
May require call shifts for pharmacist oversight, subject to negotiation.
