Job 156778 - Lead Hotline/Carving & Cafe/Soup/Salad Los Angeles, CA · Prepare all menu items according to recipe requirements and adhere to product sensitivity and plate presentation guidelines.
- Communicate flow of customers to staff to ensure readiness for oncoming rush and orders.
- Coordinate cafeteria needs with service/kitchen staff and managers.
- Work with speed and efficiency to ensure proper and timely output of restaurant menu items.
- Keep updated on recipe changes and ensure proper execution of recipe procedures to maintain a high quality and consistent product.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen area throughout shift.
- Complete assigned prep work for stocking and set up of station. Break down and clean station thoroughly every day.
- Ensure proper rotation of all products to par. Label, day dot, and sign all products. Obtain Chef/Manager signature on all products.
- Must be dressed and well-groomed in Company approved uniform at all times.
- Adherence to Company and Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate English. Minimum
- 2 years’ experience
- Openness and willingness to learn new techniques
- Clean work habits with great attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast paced and demanding environment while maintaining calmness, composure and a sense of humor.
- Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations while maintaining the highest quality of product and other established standards
- Proven ability to lead a staff and positively influence employee behavior
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication
- Must have flexibility with schedule requirements
