Job Summary
Th e Equipment Readiness Technician plays a critical role in ensuring that division equipment is delivered on time and strictly aligns with operational demands. You will work to improve the reliability of division equipment assets, support daily maintenance processes, and help maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency.
Job Description
- Assist the Equipment Readiness Lead and Engineer with preparing equipment for upcoming jobs.
- Verify the status of equipment certifications and calibrations. Help prepare and organize documentation for calibrations, function tests, material certifications, inspections, and third-party quality control.
- Execute Work Orders (WOs) assigned through the division's Computerized Maintenance Management System, ensuring strict compliance with standard work guidelines and data accuracy.
- Prepare equipment and critical spares for shipment and staging. Load equipment onto transport trucks when base or operational planning support is absent.
- Adopt a continuous improvement mindset, participating in initiatives to boost efficiency, productivity, CoSD, and asset utilization.
- Comply fully with Division Technology Lifecycle Management standards and the Competency Management System.
S kills Required
- Prefer red Forklift Experience
- Proficiency in operating standard and specialty forklifts (training provided if needed).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and digital communication skills.
- High self-motivation, integrity, and reliability.
- Eagerness to learn and flexibility with shifting priorities and schedules.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Additional Details
- S hi ft: 12 Hour Shifts, during the week but potential call-outs on weekends
Pay Rate
- $21 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
