Possible OT****Must be Forklift Certified (VALID OR INVALID) **** **This is a Safety Sensitive Role**Summary:Role focuses on movement of products throughout the warehouse using various types of Material Handling equipment. Role requires the skills and experience to operate/drive manual handling equipment in accordance with local legislation. These roles will mostly require an externally accredited qualification/license.Typical titles include Forklift operator, Equipment Operator, MHE OperatorResponsibilities:Utilizing manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist Drivers to load and unload trucksMaterial handling may include one or more of the following: picking, packing, scanning, kitting (as applicable), counting products and other like dutiesMust ensure timeliness, packaging, and systems work is completed accuratelyIdentifying and annotating overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D)Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jacks, etc.Read and follow detailed and defined instructions in a fast-paced environmentEnsure safe and secure work environment including all TSA and OSHA guidelinesPerform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Must be Forklift CertifiedHigh School Diploma or equivalentPrevious warehouse experience preferred - 1 year experienceMust be able to use forklifts, pallet jacks and banding/shrink wrap materialExperience using a RF scan gun requiredMust be able to work overtime as needed, occasional weekendsMust be able to read and comprehend work instructions wellMust have the ability to work well with othersHigh attention to detail requiredMust have the ability to work well with others with little supervisionMust be able to lift 50+lbs. unassistedMust be able to speak, read, and write in EnglishPhysical Requirements: This position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. Position requires employees to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, reach, bend and lift objects above their head.
